Privacy
Who runs CrowLab
CrowLab is run by Osman Turgut, the operator named in BEARPROOF’s README. Reach him on X (opens in a new tab) or Telegram (opens in a new tab). This site states no company registration and no jurisdiction, because it has no document to point to. Its legal pages are plain-language texts that no lawyer has reviewed.
The short version
No tracking cookies. No advertising. No account. This site stores very little, and this page lists all of it.
Analytics
We count visits and a few aggregate events, such as how often the terminal is opened, with Cloudflare’s cookieless analytics. These records carry no IP address and no identifier.
Forms and the bot check
Forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a visitor is human. Cloudflare runs Turnstile under its own privacy terms.
To limit how often one visitor can submit a form or ask a question, we keep a counter under a key made by hashing the day and your network address. The address itself is not stored, the key cannot be turned back into it, and it changes every day.
The waitlist
If you join the Experiment 003 waitlist we store the contact you type (an email address, or an @handle on X or Telegram), the language you were reading in, the time, and a two-letter country code that Cloudflare supplies. We do not store your IP address or your browser details with it.
We use the contact only to announce Experiment 003. This site sends no email. To have your entry deleted, message the founder on X (opens in a new tab) or Telegram (opens in a new tab).
The terminal’s ask command
When you use the ask command, your question is sent to an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI, which writes the answer. We keep each question for 30 days, with its language, the time and how it was answered, and then delete it. No identifier is stored with it. Do not type anything personal into it.
What stays in your browser
Your sound and terminal preferences are kept in your browser’s storage, on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Hosting and live data
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and to stop abuse. Live numbers are fetched by our server and sent to your browser from crowlab.ai.
