On the record

Each row comes from a transaction or from BEARPROOF’s own treasury document, and links to it. Words in quotation marks are that document’s. Nothing here is live: every row carries its own date.

  1. Who holds the keys

The treasury is a custodial wallet: ClawPump holds its key, and the operator orders each transfer by hand. The rows quote the treasury document.

    Who holds its key
ClawPump (custodial agent wallet). Spending only goes through ClawPump's tools, and only to whitelisted addresses.

  2. Where BEARPROOF’s fees went, to 13 Oct 2026

On compute, the treasury document says: “Measured: $78.32 of AI compute for 19 Build Agent runs and the Telegram chat (/api/stats, computeSpentUsd). That bill is covered.” (TREASURY.md:119–120 (opens in a new tab)) The repayments above total 1.972 SOL (opens in a new tab). In dollars, by the document’s own estimate: “About $152 for the first four at $120 per SOL on 4 Oct, and about $75 for the fifth at $107 per SOL on 13 Oct (estimates).” (TREASURY.md:117–118 (opens in a new tab)) On the difference between the two: “Not itemised: the rest. The operator says the transfers pay him back for everything he has paid since day 1, and that the 11 Oct one is for the AI's costs. Besides compute, that would be hosting, the domain, the stream server and tools. No invoices are published for those, so nothing here calls them measured.” (TREASURY.md:121–123 (opens in a new tab)) On how far its own claim goes: “We only claim "the AI pays for its own compute" for the amounts that were actually reimbursed on-chain, and each one links to its transaction.” (TREASURY.md:113–114 (opens in a new tab))

04 Case study

How it runs, and who does what.

What it is

A survivors-style browser game, free to play, with no wallet and no signup. You are a bull surviving an endless bear market. It began on 23 September 2026 from an open-source game under the MIT licence, kept unmodified as Build #0. To 13 October 2026, 21 builds followed: 19 written by the unattended agent (#3 to #21) and 2 in sessions a human started (#1 and #2). Every one is still playable, so the history can be played and not only read.

Its token, $BPROOF, launched on pump.fun the same day, through a service called ClawPump. The token is not needed to play or to win anything.

How the loop runs

Every step below is in the public repository (opens in a new tab). The agent is Claude Code, a coding tool, running headless in GitHub Actions.

View all (8)
  1. Trigger. A scheduled job starts the run and waits for the holder vote to close at 21:00 UTC. One run a day.
  2. Context. The agent receives one file: the vote result, verified player data for the live build and the one before it, the ideas box, the chat digest, bug reports and its last three devlogs. Everything a player wrote is clipped and marked untrusted.
  3. Decide. Regressions first: it compares the live build’s player data with the previous build’s. Then the vote winner if it is safe to ship, otherwise the top of its own backlog. One feature. It writes a plan before any code.
  4. Build. It writes the game code and the tests. It may edit only an allowlist of paths. Every command it runs is sandboxed, with no network and no secrets.
  5. Review. A second, fresh session re-runs the checks and confirms that every number in the devlog can be traced.
  6. Checks. Path guard, secret scan, lint and tests, a real-browser smoke test on phone and desktop, a determinism check. One red check means no pull request.
  7. Ship. The agent opens its own pull request, which merges once the checks pass. A separate deploy workflow, which the agent cannot edit, re-runs them and tags the build.
  8. Live. The build goes live at 00:00 UTC. If any step failed, nothing ships and the current build stays.

Note

In its first 19 nights, to 13 October 2026, the agent shipped 19 builds out of 19. Eighteen runs took 14 to 30 minutes from start to merge; one took 91. On 10 of those nights nobody voted and the agent chose from its own backlog. On the other nine a vote decided, and the votes were small: one or two wallets wherever the devlog gives a count.

What a human still does

The operator, Osman Turgut, set up the accounts, pays for infrastructure and holds a one-key revert. He does not write the nightly features. He starts the AI sessions that built the platform around the game: the server, the pipeline, the control room. To 13 October 2026 those sessions account for 263 of the project’s 282 commits. They carry the author label “Claude Code (bootstrap)”. His sessions set that label and the commits are unsigned, so treat it as his statement. The agent’s 19 nightly builds can be checked independently: GitHub records that github-actions[bot] opened and merged each pull request. The open-source game it began from adds 25 older commits, 19 of them under a human name.

He orders every treasury transfer by hand. The treasury is a custodial wallet at ClawPump, which holds its key. He posts to X; the agent drafts a post and never publishes it. He queued a backup start for three of the 19 runs. He left written notes for five builds (3, 4, 5, 8 and 9), some of them detailed, and put one option of his own on a ballot. Each is in OPERATOR.md (opens in a new tab) and in that build’s devlog.

What it costs, and where the fees went

Each run’s compute cost is counted by the tool itself, across both passes, and published whether the build shipped or not. The first 19 agent builds cost $78.30 in total: $4.12 a night on average, from $2.21 to $9.21 (to 13 October 2026). Measured compute to date, as bearproof.app reports it: $80.80.

Creator fees from $BPROOF’s trading reach a treasury: a custodial wallet at ClawPump. The treasury document (opens in a new tab) states the split: 75% to the treasury, 25% to ClawPump. Fees generated so far, summed from trade events on chain: 7.133 SOL.

Compute is not all the treasury has paid for. To 13 October 2026 the document records five repayments to the operator, 1.9721 SOL in all, for bills he paid first; 2 SOL on 27 September to an address the document names as the operator’s own wallet, which it says paid for a promotion; a 0.1 SOL buyback on 29 September; top-ups of the prize wallet; and a token re-lock on 5 October. By the document’s own estimates the repayments come to about $227, more than the compute measured. Its words for the difference: “Not itemised: the rest”. Every line, with its transaction, is on the record.

The daily prize pot is at most 40% of the day’s fees and never more than 1 SOL. The product’s own code pays it from a separate wallet, in $ANSEM, a third-party token it buys at payout.

How to verify

Agent commits are authored by github-actions[bot], start with feat(build-N) and carry the line “Build-Mode: agent”. Read the commits (opens in a new tab), the nightly workflow (opens in a new tab), one devlog per build (opens in a new tab) and the treasury document (opens in a new tab).

The product’s data is open too: builds with their cost (opens in a new tab), the agent’s session log (opens in a new tab) and the ledger (opens in a new tab), which shows its latest 100 rows. The token and every transaction are on Solscan (opens in a new tab).

As of 14 October 2026 bearproof.app and its repository do not link back to crowlab.ai. Check the contract address against bearproof.app (opens in a new tab) and its README, not against this page.

In BEARPROOF’s own words, the coin is the AI’s budget and a say in the roadmap, and not an investment. It is not needed to play. Nothing on this page is financial advice.
